At ChurchDesk we focus on making sure that the church has the best toolset to meet people. ChurchDesk is an all-in-one solution covering everything from event creation and communication. From today that also includes attendance tracking as post-event evaluation.
Dear customers and partners,
We've had another exciting year, with some major improvements to ChurchDesk. You're looking for more when it comes to digital tools and it's a privilege to continue to support your work and mission.
If your organisation handles the personal data of citizens, 25 May 2018 is a date that needs to be emblazoned on your mind. New regulation governing data protection comes into force putting far greater requirements on churches to manage, protect and dispose of citizens’ personal data in an appropriate manner. Here’s how the rules will affect your church. And how you can face the new regulations properly by using ChurchDesk.
It’s been a year full of improvements to ChurchDesk. We’ve focused a lot on improving our user experience, making it even easier to get more value from our product. It's easy to build new features but what’s really important is making them a joy to use. This also means that we’ve built a brand new version of our mobile app, making it easy to work and keep up to date on the go. We have also assigned a personal ChurchDesk advisor to all our customers as a part of their subscription.
We will be at the Christian Resources Exhibition from 17-19 October 2017 at Sandown Park. This is Europe's leading exhibition of church resources and we are excited to be here and talk to churches about how we can help engage more people and improve the work of the church.
ChurchDesk was founded to help churches engage with their members and communities. This is why we built People - we wanted to enable personal, targeted, and real-time communication.
We recently introduced a great new feature in "Reporting" that allows you to understand the effect on all messages - both emails and text messages (SMS). Now you can see who opens, clicks or doesn't receive your messages. This is the first step to help you understand the impact of all the efforts you put into your communication. It also allows you to start experimenting and comparing what works and what does not.
ChurchDesk is always aiming to create the best tools for the church so we can support its growth, both today and in the future; so it’s a big day for ChurchDesk! Today, we’re adding the possibility of coordinating tasks between staff and volunteers to our system. We believe we have to make it as easy as possible to get involved in the church and its work, and we hope our new feature goes some way to aiding this.
Our new Chief Product Officer (CPO), Kenneth Svenningsen, starts at ChurchDesk this week and we’re very excited about it. Kenneth aims to be the link between the church’s needs and the ongoing development at ChurchDesk, and henceforth will be responsible for making sure our product delivers the greatest possible value to the church. With his hire we are investing more in product development than ever before, in order to become the best possible partner to the church.
A lot has happened at ChurchDesk in the last year. Most importantly, we have become a truly integrated Church Engagement Platform, which helps churches across the country communicate with thousands of people every day.
