Newsletter December: GDPR, attendance and new app

Dear customers and partners,

We've had another exciting year, with some major improvements to ChurchDesk. You're looking for more when it comes to digital tools and it's a privilege to continue to support your work and mission.

Coming up: Attendance and collaboration

It’s been a year full of improvements to ChurchDesk. We’ve focused a lot on improving our user experience, making it even easier to get more value from our product. Here I'd like to share our priorities for 2019.

We've received two awards

We were recently reviewed by FinancesOnline resulting in a top 10 spot as well as two awards in the Church Management Software category:

ChurchDesk and technology at the CRE

We will be at the Christian Resources Exhibition from 17-19 October 2017 at Sandown Park. This is Europe's leading exhibition of church resources and we are excited to be here and talk to churches about how we can help engage more people and improve the work of the church.

Summer Message from Christian

The summer is now almost over, and we’ve made lots of exciting announcements over the last few months, which you can read more about here. I’d also like to share some thoughts with all you who have joined us on our journey.

From communication to relationships: A new version of People

ChurchDesk was founded to help churches engage with their members and communities. This is why we built People - we wanted to enable personal, targeted, and real-time communication.

New feature: Reporting on messages

We recently introduced a great new feature in "Reporting" that allows you to understand the effect on all messages - both emails and text messages (SMS). Now you can see who opens, clicks or doesn't receive your messages. This is the first step to help you understand the impact of all the efforts you put into your communication. It also allows you to start experimenting and comparing what works and what does not.

Introducing Planning...

ChurchDesk is always aiming to create the best tools for the church so we can support its growth, both today and in the future; so it’s a big day for ChurchDesk! Today, we’re adding the possibility of coordinating tasks between staff and volunteers to our system. We believe we have to make it as easy as possible to get involved in the church and its work, and we hope our new feature goes some way to aiding this.
