Features and improvements introduced in August

Learn more about the features and improvement we have made in ChurchDesk over the last month. We invest every month in making our service to you even better. Here you can learn how we have done that.

Add documents and files to events

The ability to add documents and files directly to an event has long been requested. We are pleased to be able to meet your needs with a much easier and faster solution. Where previously it was necessary to first upload to the file archive and link from there, it is now possible to add files directly to an event.

You can already add files by editing the event and then selecting or "drag/drop" files directly into the field, after which they will be automatically uploaded and displayed on the event

Bugs

We are fixing tons of smaller issues and bugs every month. Most notably this month we resolved a bug with website navigation for customers using theme 6, 7 and 8 where sub-menus when unfolded moved outside of the screen area.

What is coming soon?

We will naturally share more information with you as we are coming closer to a release of the features, but here's a teaser.

Add support for multiple contacts using the same contact information

In september we are making it possible to have several contacts who use the same emails and phone numbers. This will make it much easier to add couples and children to the ChurchDesk database. In fact we will also automatically link contacts together as family members if they share contact information.
